NHSN Antimicrobial Usage and Antimicrobial Resistance (AUR) Updates

Webinar

Reporting antimicrobial use and resistance data (AUR) will be included in the Public Health and Clinical Data Exchange Objective as a required measure beginning with the EHR reporting period in CY 2024.  Eligible hospitals and critical access hospitals (CAHs) are required to report this measure to the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) beginning with the EHR reporting period in CY 2024.  This course will provide insight on how to become compliant with the new AUR measure.

Dr. Jocasta Olp, Vice President of Operations with Vigilanz, will lead this overview on the upcoming CMS requirements around Antimicrobial Use and Antimicrobial resistance (AUR) reporting.  Attendees will learn what it takes be compliant with this measure, whether they choose to implement a solution or partner with a certified vendor as defined by CMS.
