Peter Wright joined the NMC team as Chief Executive Officer in January of 2023. Prior to joining NMC, Peter served as the President of Bridgton & Rumford hospitals and Senior Vice President of Central Maine Healthcare. Peter has more than two decades of experience in hospital administration. He has served as the President and CEO of Valley Regional Healthcare in New Hampshire; the Chief Operating Officer of Littleton Regional Hospital in New Hampshire; and Senior Director of Planning, Development, and Medical Group Operations at Copley Hospital in Vermont. Peter has served on the American Hospital Association’s (AHA) Board of Trustees and as the Chair of the AHA’s regional policy board for New England. He holds a Master of Health Care Delivery Science from Dartmouth College, a Master of Science in Administration from St. Michael’s College, and is Board Certified in Healthcare Management and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). He has served as President of ACHE’s northern New England chapter and Regent for New Hampshire. Peter is a former Trustee of the Vermont State University and has been a member of Rotary International for more than 20 years.
