Sandy Garcia brings over 37 years of healthcare experience to her role as AVP, Regulatory Affairs and Behavioral Health Services for Ovation Healthcare.

Sandy’s career has focused in executive nursing leadership, including stints as Chief Nursing Executive for several acute care facilities. Her experience ranges from large tertiary care facilities to small rural hospitals. She has also worked with the Department of Justice and the Department of Defense with emphasis on quality and accreditation preparation and recovery for Behavioral Health, Ambulatory, Nursing Care Centers and Hospitals. Most recently, Sandy served as the surveyor and lead consultant for The Joint Commission Enterprise surveying to the Standards and Elements of Performance and the Medicare Conditions of Participation.
