Dennis O. Rookwood, JR is the Vice President of Performance Optimization at Ovation Healthcare, where he leads enterprise-wide execution. He specializes in scaling delivery as organizational complexity increases, protecting the client experience through strong coordination, and driving execution reliability across all engagements. Dennis oversees a high-performing team whose work spans enterprise delivery models, M&A integration, business development enablement, corporate initiatives, and strategic implementation for Ovation and its clients.

With a background in corporate finance, strategic planning, and large-scale project leadership, Dennis has built a career transforming vision into measurable results. He has generated more than $40 million in net financial impact for organizations and their clients, shortened execution timelines by building systems that enhance reliability, and led service line expansions that advance specialty care growth. His experience includes major academic medical centers such as Wake Forest Baptist, Cleveland Clinic, Adventist Health, Nationwide Children’s, and Cone Health, and countless smaller hospitals and systems along the way.  Additionally, he has worked in multiple private equity backed healthcare environments. This combination of system-level and specialty experience allows him to design execution frameworks that scale across diverse care settings.
