Peter is a Managing Director in Forvis Mazars’ Healthcare Performance Improvement practice.  He leads the national nonlabor cost reduction service line.  Peter is one of the healthcare’s foremost cost reduction experts in the industry and founder of the industry’s non-labor cost reduction methodology that is widely used today.  Over thirty five years, he has helped clients of all sizes save millions while providing a market leading return on investment.

Peter was CEO of Strategic Sourcing Results, Inc., a nationally recognized nonlabor cost reduction consultancy, and previously led Andersen’s healthcare Non-Labor practice for the Midwest.

Peter is a graduate of University of Colorado Boulder, with a B.S. degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting and finance. He earned his MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Peter is also a Certified Purchasing Manager and Certified Public Accountant.  He is a frequent speaker, instructor and author on the topics of cost reduction, contracting, and negotiations.
